Street Child Italia (SCIT) is a non-profit organisation that implements educational projects for the most disadvantaged children in the poorest countries of the world and in crisis regions. The projects focus on high-quality and sustainable measures: access to education, child protection and the sustainable safeguarding of the livelihood of families. SCIT is an independent partner of the global Street Child network, consisting of 8 sister organisations in Europe and projects in 22 of the world’s lowest income and most crisis-affected countries in Africa and Asia.
Street Child Italia is looking for a passionate professional to support Street Child Italia’s fundraising efforts in Italy. As a Fundraising Officer, you will be contributing and supporting the team in Italy to fundraise and reach its annual target. Additionally, you will also be part of a global fundraising team and you will work closely with our European fundraising teams based in Barcelona and London. This is a virtual position, but we expect candidates ideally to be based in Rome or Milan, and we encourage the new starter to spend some weeks at the beginning working from the Barcelona office to facilitate the onboarding.
