We offer a role as Hardware amp; Software Engineer, who will report to the Sensor amp; Electronics Team Leader, and will be based in our plant in Casella (GE). The candidate will join the dynamic Innovation and Product Development (IPD) team and will provide support to the new product development within the Ramp;D department. This figure will be in charge of developing new Hardware / Software (Firmware) design and will have to test the developed products with laboratory activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design power supply and Hardware for industrial instrumentations.
- Design digital and analogic circuit.
- Define tests’ specifications for the evaluation and validation of new Hardware prototypes.
- Manage laboratory tests and create reports for the evaluation and validation of the realized prototypes.
- Definition of trials’ procedures for the validation of the production tools.
- Creation and development of the specifications for the trial machines of new products.
- Analyse disruptions of equipments.
- Manage the product throughout the certification phases.
Requirements
- University Degree in Electronics or Qualified Electronics Technologist
- Good knowledge of written/spoken English
- Hardware competencies: Power supply stage design, experience of analog and digital circuits design, experience of analog and digital signal acquisition, knowledge of electronic components with related applications, skills for the realization of analog and digital interfaces.
- Software knowledge: Programming languages C / C++ / LABVIEW, High / low level micro controllers programming, programming industrial communication protocols RS-485 / MODBUS, programming SPI / I2C serial ports, knowledge of mP development environments, possibly KEIL MDK-ARM, ST VISUAL DEVELOPMENT.
- Knowledge of development systems for PCB Design.
- Excellent knowledge of laboratory equipment and tools for testing on electronics circuits.
