Application Architect (Java, Angular)

Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for an Application Architect (Java, Angular) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Ispra, Italy. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Analyze change requests, assess impact on components and/or overall architecture and identify alternative solutions;
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems and data analysis and data modelling;
- Design and development of architecture components and building blocks;
- Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud;
- Provide programming support for the existing Java/Tomcat components and applications;
- Prepare test plans and support the execution of unit, integration, and system testing;
- Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
Requirements
- University Degree in IT or related field , combined with professional experience of more than 8 years;
- Experience in Java programming language including I/O, concurrency, localization and Java testing frameworks (i.e. JUnit, Mockito);
- Experience in interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture);
- Experience in Containers and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes);
- Experience in ECMAScript and Main JavaScript frameworks (Angular, jQuery, D3.js, Ext.Js);
- Experience in Angular Material and Angular State Management Systems (i.e. NGXS, NgRx etc.) and servlet containers;
- Experience in Front-end testing frameworks (i.e. Jasmine, Karma, Cypress) and Relational DBMS programming including SQL and JDBC;
- Good knowledge of HTTP, TCP/IP, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, XML, XSL, JSON and business process analysis;
- Good knowledge of Web security, authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, Open ID Connect) and Cloud Computing;
- Excellent command of the English language.
