Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Reporting Operations Officer to join our Risk team in VIVA Wallet Italy. Reporting to the Regulatory Reporting Operations Manager, the successful candidate will monitor the regulatory reports submission process and support the timely and effective communication with regulators in multiple countries where the company has a presence.

More specifically, you will:

  • Establish and monitor the regulatory reports submission process in order to meet compliance requirements within the regulatory reporting calendar.
  • Design and perform quality assurance controls, KPIs and reconciliation rules that will ensure the accuracy and consistency of the regulatory reports produced.
  • Ensure reports validity and compliance with the regulatory specifications.
  • Execute submissions in the regulatory environments the company operates by country in terms of reporting obligations in a timely manner.
  • Identify and develop the appropriate communication links within local and foreign regulatory bodies across Central Europe in order to support a variety of regulatory reporting functions.
  • Handle current and emerging issues concerning reports submissions, prioritize requests and identify the stakeholders to be involved.
  • Maintain procedures and documentation related to the reporting functions and the communication procedures, including escalation and authorization processes.
  • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding services offered, regulations, best practices, tools and techniques.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree in Risk Management/Governance, Business Administration or Finance will be considered as a plus.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in relevant position, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Strong MS Office skills, primarily in Excel and/or Power BI.
  • Experience in SQL will be considered as a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in additional European languages such as Spanish and/or Portuguese will be considered as a plus.
