Splendido Mare, A Belmond Hotel, part of the LVMH Group, is a charming guesthouse in the heart of the Portofino. Its celebrated restaurant, DaV Mare, embodies all the pleasures of piazzetta living through refined cuisine, curated in partnership with the 3-Michelin-star Cerea family. Awash with nautical spirit, our gem on the Italian Riviera celebrates the art of Ligurian living in its purest form.

For the next season, we are looking for a "Banconista gelateria" to join the team at Gelateria San Giorgio.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/she should have exemplary customer service skills.
Main duties amp; responsibilities:
- Ice cream sales and service activities
- Cashier's duties
- Compliance with health and safety regulation
Requirements
- Working experience of minimum 1 year within the same role
- Good organizational skills and teamwork
- Knowledge of English and Italian;
- Good interpersonal skills and attention to details
- Exceptional customer service skills

- Effective communication, Emotional intelligence and Adaptability
- Collaboration: be a role model for teamwork, and proactively go out of one’s way to help others
- Drive results: set clear goals and expectations and maximise resource allocation to achieve those
- Global perspective: treat each other with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level or background
- Be able to advice about best selling prices and keen to regularly review them according to Restaurant manager and Purchasing manager instructions.
