GCamp;C Central Property Team is looking for a Head of Global Parametric UW Governance
Mission:
Develop and oversee the global parametric portfolio for GCamp;C, securing profitable growth and building tools, processes and procedures for the next development phase for this Line of Business
Main activities:
Underwriting strategy and policies
- Defining and implementing the underwriting strategy
- Monitor and steer the global GCamp;C parametric portfolio through setting and measurement of relevant KPI’s
Drive the business
- Build out the relevant underwriting infrastructure to facilitate effective and efficient underwriting processes
- Build and maintain a global community of experts within GCamp;C to support the generation of business
- Create and execute a strong external and internal communication plan together with GCamp;C Communication Department to create wide recognition for GCamp;C Parametrics
- Maintain strong relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Drive and support the product development within the Line.
Underwriting governance
- Implement and oversee the governance function of the parametric underwriting function through guidelines, underwriting authorities and bulletins; while ensuring adequate levels of empowerment
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate insurance underwriting
- Understanding of corporate insurance markets and parametrics insurance is a plus
- Preferably an understanding of property products
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and engaging skills
- Business development skills
- Ability to engage and support an international community
- Fluent in English, other language skills is an advantage
- University degree economics / engineering / similar
