If you're a Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong technical background, an interest in IoT and a passion for quality and all things data - this could be the role for you:
Here's what you'll do:
- Support implementation of a test strategy and testing principles
- Cultivate team-wide adoption of best practices in QA for IoT aspects
- Define and write test cases and acceptance criteria
- Automate and maintain tests and implement mock services (e.g. vendor cloud APIs)
- Test software and hardware aspects of IoT solutions
- Assist developers in solving issues related to IoT solutions (e.g. providing test data)
- Setup of appropriate test and monitoring metrics (e.g., bug reporting, test coverage, availability)
- Assess quality-related monitoring systems of container fleet
- Support in gathering of requirements and writing of functional specifications for IoT solutions
- Test non-functional aspects (e.g., load testing, availability, security)
Requirements
This is what you'll need:
- Graduate in technical fields is useful but not essential
- Knowledge of quality assurance and test automation
- Knowledge of a programming or scripting language (e.g. JavaScript)
- Hands-on experience in embedded systems development and troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of electronic circuit design
- Experience with modern agile software development (Continuous Integration, Automation Testing)
- Experience with test automation (Postman, Gatling)
- Experience in using embedded development tools (oscilloscope, protocol analyzers, JTAG debugger, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with IoT solutions and in business and analysis is an advantage
- Language: EN

This means ingesting, storing and providing analytics on IoT data in a highly scalable platform, integrating SkyCell’s in-house developed software, but also a range of third-party loggers and ensuring constant availability of the system. The team use modern, standard technology, constantly optimize our development processes, and have close and direct interaction with our product management function and internal stakeholfers.
