For the next season, we are looking for a Restaurant Hostess to join the team at DaV Mare, Belmond’s unique collaboration with the Cerea family. This harbourside restaurant offers big Ligurian flavours, gastronomic excellence and outstanding service from breakfast through to dinner.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/she should have exemplary customer service skills.
Main duties amp; responsibilities:
- Managing telephone reservations
- Welcoming customers upon arrival
- Escorting customers to the reserved table
- Handling of any needs (checkroom service etc.)
- Assisting with information requests
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in the same role in luxury hotels and/or fine dining restaurants
- Good communication skills
- Excellent team work skills
- Determination to achieve goals
- Fluency in English at a professional level and preferably one additional language
- Attention to detail
- Ability to adapt
- Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure
