Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent's duties are:
- Responsible for procurement of CE, AV, ADP and spare/repair parts.
- Responsible for supervising the preparation and submission of purchase request.
- Manages open-end contracts for the purchase of spare/repair parts.
- Supervises petty cash purchases and vouchers as outlined in ACE and SHAPE directives.
- Co-ordinates with requesters in the preparation of "Sole Source" justifications when a single supplier or a specific item is required.
- Co-ordinates transactions with local vendors and military suppliers such as depots.
- Interprets applicable regulations as they apply to the procurement process.
- Reconciles problems in the automated supply accounting system.
- Co-ordinates with the Budget Office on the availability of funds for the procurement of material.
- Performs research of catalogues to identify procurement sources.
- Checks procurement request for completeness of pertinent information.
- Alternate MRAH Account holder and Building Maintenance Monitor.
The employee may be required to perform a similar range of duties elsewhere within the organisation at the same grade without there being any change to the contract
The incumbent may be required to undertake operation deployments and/or TOY assignments both within and without NATO's boundaries.
The work is normally performed in a typical Office environment.

The employee may be required to perform activities that involve logistics management. Participates in the overall planning, organizing, and directing of programmes, services, and support activities carried out through all logistics functions. Develops plans and policy guidance to implement logistics management programs. Directs and administers a positive management- oriented logistics management programme.
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge amp; Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Primary Skill Level: Assist: Works under routine supervision, uses minor discretion in resolving problems or enquiries without frequent reference to others. Performs a range of different work activities in a variety of structured environments, using appropriate methods, tools and applications in a rational and organised approach. Plans and schedules own work within short time horizons. - Experience in stock management and accounting.
- Experience ln supply/procurement, including requisition, receipt, storage and accountability.
