About the role
We are looking for a Market Analyst with primary responsibility to gather, analyze and consolidate market, sales and business data to drive Empatica’s business strategy as well as identify opportunities for growth.
Attention to detail is crucial as is the ability not only to research and pull data from the various sources, but also to analyze the data and understand its value to the company and its growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, in a fast-paced and people-oriented environment, where priorities can change according to the market and deadlines often need to be met under significant time pressure. Knowledge of the digital healthcare field is a plus, as well as a relevant academic background.
- Analyze data, trends, strategies, and market dynamics in Empatica’s industry and adjacent fields
- Perform ongoing market research, including activities relevant for corporate development
- Gather and evaluate market information to review the company’s position and validate opportunities for growth
- Provide analytic market research in support of business planning
- Collaborate with business development, sales, and marketing
- Collect, access, verify, and organise market trends, competitive intelligence, and sales data
- Conduct analysis, initiate investigations and respond to internal and external ad-hoc inquiries on different topics, including medical research, regulatory approvals, clinical innovation

Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Biomedical Engineering or related fields
- Proficient in English
- Good understanding of analytical techniques, statistical analysis, and data management
- Experience in analyzing data in Excel (lookups, pivots, visualization, conditional logic, etc.)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and across business areas
