Moneyfarm product offer recently widened with the acquisition of Profile Financial Solutions Ltd (Profile Pensions), the UK digital pension adviser and pensions consolidator with 24,000 customers and over 870m of AUM.
Thanks to the merger with Profile Pension, Moneyfarm will grow into a larger and broader player, with a significant depth of proposition in digital wealth management across the UK and Italy with a stunning 3.3bn in AUM and over 115,000 customers.

Ideally this role will be based in our office in Cagliari, Sardinia but would also consider London or Milan.

As our business and team size grows, we’re looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to join us and help lead Engineering activities.
Although this is very much a leadership role we are looking for someone who is still relatively hand on technical and therefore you are really able to understand the team’s technology context.

You’ll report to the Chief Technology Officer and work closely with the Technology Leadership team to make sure we keep protecting our customers and shape the way Moneyfarm Technology will work for the years to come.
Responsibilities:
- Line management of some of the people and Moneyfarm Product Development teams, ensuring they’re set up for success and are delivering value to Moneyfarm at high velocity.
- Work with internal stakeholders to help defining the roadmap for the teams, considering partners’ needs and technological landscape
- Liaise with external partners as our senior Technology evangelist and advocate.
- Actively support the Technology Leadership team to achieve building a world-class technology team
Requirements
- At least 8 years’ experience in the Software industry, of which at least 4 years managing teams. A BSc in Software Engineering or Computer Science or higher degree is not essential, but nice to have.
