For the next season, we are looking for an Commis de Rang to join the team.The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/she should have exemplary customer service skills.
Main duties amp; responsibilities:
- Fulfil the operations of the Food amp; Beverage venues according to the Company policies, high standards and procedures
- Take care of the mise-en-place
- Support the Chef de Rang with service
- Clean and set-up floors, tables, chairs, linen, glass and silver for service
- Monitor all aspects of the customers' experience, from the restaurant layout before they arrive to the experience they receive during the service. Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate guests’ needs
Requirements
- Fluent in Italian and (at least) good level of spoken English
- Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred
- Previous professional experience in a similar role, also with school internships
- Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally
- Communicate clearly and in an appropriate manner (both verbally and non-verbally).
- Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and emotions of guests and colleagues and adjust his/her style to them. Manage own emotions in challenging situations.
- Identify when a different approach is needed and offer solutions. Try and adopt new ways of doing things.
- Be able and willing to work as a team player. Share information and skills and actively seek and provide feedback.
