Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to direct product development and ensure high return on investment (ROI.) You’ll translate ideas into strategy and features, and follow product development from start to finish.
To succeed in this role, you should be a perceptive and creative leader and a reliable problem-solver. If you’re also confident and have a knack for knowing what ideas will and won’t work, we’d like to meet you.
You main duties include:
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Create new features from company objectives
Requirements
- Develop and implement product strategies consistent with company vision
- Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products
- Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps
- Lead product managers and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Produce and review product requirements documents (PRD)
- Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
- Make creative recommendations to expand product base and vision
- Suggest ways to track product use and impact on end users
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role
- Experience in product lifecycle management
- Background in software development and program management is preferred
- Familiarity with Agile framework
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Creative thinking skills
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
About Ogyre
Ogyre is the first online platform for the recovery of waste from the sea by fishermen. The project stems from the conviction that a virtuous and economically sustainable circle can be created to clean up the sea from the waste that threatens its ecosystem. This model makes available to those who care about the sea, individuals or companies, the dedication and commitment of those who live it and can take care of it every day, the fishermen.
Ogyre allows its users to remotely collect waste from the sea and follow online the recovery activities of the fishermen, who are paid for their activity. Each fisherman has a face and a story, and his commitment to the sea is photographed and reported on every day. This involves people and is at the same time a communication and marketing tool for companies pursuing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives.
Waste recovery activities can be financed directly online or through collection campaigns for business partners. In addition, users can purchase useful products that are fully recycled and contain reclaimed marine plastic, directly on the site. Each purchase helps to collect a certain amount of marine waste. By using only recycled materials for its products, Ogyre contributes to the development of the circular economy, considering what is still seen as waste as a resource. With this in mind, all products are recyclable, simplifying the disposal and future use of the secondary materials that make them up.
