UI Designer (Design System)

Job Description
We are looking for new talents to join us as UI Designers (Design System), who are already based within the European Union.
The role
At Prima we have developed a comprehensive Design System and we are adopting it on all products globally. The development of the Design System is constant and the aim of the team is to maintain and expand the libraries on the design and code side.
At Prima you will be responsible for the definition and design of the components of our Design System. You will follow all phases of growth, maintenance and documentation with the goal of creating simple, usable and globally accessible interfaces.
Our team consists of Designers and Developers with the aim of expanding the Design System and supporting its adoption. The team has a global and international outlook and works with colleagues from all countries.
The working language is English, for which an excellent knowledge is required. Ours is a dynamic and innovation-driven environment where designers, developers and stakeholders constantly collaborate.
Specifically, you will take care of these tasks:
- Working on the growth of the Design System together with the team
- Following the design of Components and Patterns in collaboration with other designers and developers
- Manage and update libraries that can be used by all designers
- Write documentation and guidelines for the designed components
- Define guidelines and best practices for interface design
- Spread the culture and use of the Design System in all branches of Prima
Requirements
You are our ideal candidate if you meet these requirements:
- Proven experience in user interface design
- Demonstrable competence with a solid portfolio of completed projects
- Solid experience in the creation and management of design systems
- Excellent skills with leading design and prototyping software (Figma, Sketch and inVision)
- Outstanding interface design skills with an eye for usability and accessibility
- Ability to present your solutions to teams and stakeholders
- Ability and stubbornness to solve problems creatively and simply
- Interest in staying up-to-date on trends, tools and best practices
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS logic
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
Nice to have
In addition to the basic requirements, we will carefully evaluate these characteristics:
- Knowledge of the basic rules for good UX
- Knowledge of UX methodologies aimed at validating the user experience
- Attention to web performance
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodology

The employment is Full Time and our contracts are regulated by the CCNL of Commerce.
Our office is in Piazzale Loreto 17, 20131 Milano (MI), but we also consider Full Remote hiring from other european countries and for our offices in Rome, London and Madrid.
