Hotel Caruso a Belmond property is looking for a lifeguard

The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality and is capable of addressing Guests’ requests in single contact, efficiently, exceeding their expectations by providing relevant and insightful information.

The ideal candidate makes sure guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued while at the Pool.

Her/His warm welcome needs to set the standards for unforgivable experience for our guests.

Main duties amp; responsibilities

Assist/ensure Guests courteously and efficiently all the guests in accordance with the Belmond standards;

Ensures that work station is clean at all the times;

Ensure all pool furniture is neatly arranged and cleaned;

Supervise people in the water and get involved in case of danger or risk of drowning

Requirements

Competencies required

Fluent in English;

Higher education (graduate or undergraduate) preferably in hospitality;

Outstanding communication skills, fluent in English and Italian both verbal and written; Use and interpret non-verbal behavior’s to enhance understanding.

Emotional intelligence: take on challenges in a confident manner and use emotional skills to identify problems and resolve them. Seek feedback about own performance to enhance self-awareness.

A positive and 'can-do' attitude;

Administrative and organization skills;

Collaboration: proactively go out of one’s way to help others.

Drive results: achieve goals and expectations;

Experience and skills required

Applicants are required to have minimum two years previous employment in a related position in deluxe hotels;

Lifeguard and first aid certification
