Job Description


SCOPE

You will be responsible for the life cycle of the product from development hand over right up until QC sign off and delivery handover to the Operations team. Responsible for daily communications with suppliers, factories, agents and mills whilst keeping internal administration up to date and accurate. The ideal candidate will have experience of CMT and FF production across a variety of product categories in menswear and accessories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan seasonal factory allocation with senior team based on capability, volume, capacity, margin targets and supplier performance.

• Develop and maintain exceptionally strong relationships with nominated factories and mills, to ensure commercial and technical commitments are honoured

• Negotiate and manage production costs, moqs and final product costing margin.

• Gross Profit Margin analysis, tracking and reporting pre and post sales market

Oversee Raw Material purchase orders with suppliers for all fabrics, trims and packaging materials, following through on delivery to the factories in accordance with timeline requirements.

Track factory critical path dates with each supplier via the WIP once a PO is raised and send out weekly to track the progress of production.

Attend regular fit meetings for SMS/PP samples and ensure all garments are fitted and sealed in accordance with agreed delivery dates.

Responsible for Quality Control, coordinating inline and end of production QC, either in person or with external QC controllers as required within budget.

Attend weekly meetings with the Operations, Sales , DTC and Customer Service teams to review ex-factory dates and discuss any arising issues and work collaboratively to manage smooth workflow between departments.

Record and manage seasonal raw material excess and actively drive projects and discussions with development teams to utilise and reduce excess.

Ensure all product attributes data is added into Zedonk in a timely manner to enable smooth handover to the Ops team; HTS codes, Compositions and Care Info.

Assisting with the completion of product-based information for the CS teams as required.

Availability for national and international travel is essential.

Requirements

Experience and skills

• 5-6 years of experience within a sourcing / production / supply chain role, preferably within the fashion or sportswear industry.

• Entrepreneurial and a natural problem solver with a track record of working in fashion start-ups across different departments

• Strong analytical skills with numerical dexterity and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Solid understanding margin levers and a track record of margin improvement.

• Equally comfortable working autonomously and remotely from factories as well as responding to strict instructions
