Job Description

To strengthen Prima’s financial planning amp; analysis (FPamp;A) and business monitoring capabilities, we are looking for a young top-tier, Junior Quantitative Financial Analyst to join our FPamp;A team within the Group CFO area.

Our perfect candidate is a recently graduated talent with an analytical and data-driven approach with excellent attention to details, strong communication skills and the ambition to grow as a quantitative and finance professional in a global fast growing company.

You will have the unique chance to join the leading insurtech in Italy. We now serve over 2 million clients in Italy and recently launched our international expansion, with fully operational offices in London, Milan, Rome and Madrid. Our continued focus on cutting-edge tech and analytics coupled with superb user experience attracted a 100 million investment from Goldman Sachs and Blackstone in 2018.


In this exciting role you will be involved in the following FPamp;A activities:


  • Forecasting analyses, to anticipate what’s going to happen and identify possible business initiatives
  • Business monitoring dashboards, to measure performance of various business lines, for discussion at top management level
  • Generating reports to business partners, including insurers, reinsurers and commercial partners
  • Contribution to the successful rollout of the new Global finance data platform of Prima Group

Requirements

You are our ideal candidate if you meet these requirements:


  • Outstanding academic background in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Maths or related fields
  • Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills, as well as curiosity and passion. When doing an analysis, your focus will be on the how and the why rather than just on the what is happening
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and strong modelling skills
  • Fluency in Italian and English


In addition to the basic requirements, we will appreciate these characteristics:


  • Coding skills (SQL, Python, VBA, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication skills and strong team orientation
  • We don’t request any minimum work experience, although relevant internship or some post-graduate work may be a plus
  • Strategic mindset and ability to grasp the "bigger picture", while keeping attention to details
