Key responsibilities:
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from the FPamp;A team relating to business planning, budgeting and reporting
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Support in preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements
- Support in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Assist with the development of incisive analysis and reporting to give insights to business performance and trends, including use of KPIs
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in an analytics, financial planning or strategy role at a tech or rapidly scaling company
- Strong quantitative orientation, as evidenced by academic background or prior quantitative work experience
- Advanced Excel and data modelling skills; experience with SQL is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with high personal standards for accuracy and quality of work
- Self-motivated, proactive and curious disposition, with a natural tendency toward investigating information that seems interesting or anomalous
- Strong written and visual communication skills
- Fluent English + knowledge of European languages (Spanish, French or German) is advantageous though not required
