Technical Product Owner - Pega systems (Italian and English speaking)

Knowledge Expert is looking for a highly motivated Italian and English speaking Technical Product Owner to be part of an Agile Team; accountable for defining User-Stories (US) and prioritising the Team Backlog to drive the creation of value, having ‘hands on’ experience working with Pega technology. The PO has a significant role in maximising the value produced by the team and ensuring that the US meet the business needs.

While establishing a strong relationship with the customer, acting as an advisor on lean agile product management and challenging the business needs to promote the out of the box solution, you will work with the team so as to empower it in the Feature/User Story refinement process.

This is primarily a remote working position with some travel expected periodically.

Requirements

In this role, you will:

• Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm for the client’s success
• Be responsible for the team backlog health by building, editing and maintaining the backlog
• Iteration planning preparation and successful agreement on an iteration plan
• Engage the whole team in backlog refinement and ensure proper flow
• Understand and plan for enabler work, especially exploration
• Contributing to Vision and Roadmap
• Accepting US when completed by the team
• Participate in the team demo and retrospective
• Help in preparing the System Demo
• Educate the client on Product Management and to think product and not project
• Contribute to sales and pre-sales engagements and shaping new engagements for health and success
• Welcome and effectively manage context switching

Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in technical or related field
• Fluency in spoken and written Italian and English
• 5+ years of experience working within an Enterprise-level solution
• 3+ years of experience working as Product Owner
• SAFe experience and certification (PO/PM, SPC) is an advantage
• Good degree of experience working with Pega development technology. We are open to candidates who are Pega developers with PO experience.
• Based in a European country (due to GDPR constraint only EU based applicants can be considered)
