Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Sales Manager is to grow the business in Italy by successfully selling Proximie solutions to new hospitals and enterprises, as well as increasing the share of wallet and penetration in the existing accounts.

The Sales Manager will deliver on ambitious targets, and take initiative to partner directly with clients to exceed growth across markets and verticals.

This is an exciting role which will require a passion for making change in healthcare and the way clinical information is shared. You will take a leading role in software and service sales which will contribute to the overall performance of the Italy business and our next phase of growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build a strong healthy pipeline of sales opportunities with Hospitals.
  • Execute upon joint opportunities with channel partners and increase their adoption.
  • Drive consistent and sustained sales growth.
  • Lead in strategic account planning, developing Hospital profiles and forecasting.
  • Understand and effectively deliver Proximie’s value proposition, leading by example through demonstrated sales strategy and ultimately ensuring deals are closed.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all key competitors and partners. Build and foster partner relationships to build a pipeline and execute on opportunities.
  • Provide direct support at all stages of the sales cycle to Implementation managers and application specialists where required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • At least 5 years of sales or client management experience.
  • Successful enterprise sales experience with a proven history of quota attainment.
  • Exceptional understanding of the Italian Health Systems.
  • Knowledge of IT, carriers, and managed service providers.
  • Experience in using salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • A strong background and understanding of existing, new and emerging technology used in healthcare.
  • Experience with account planning, forecasting, and managing sales pipelining.
  • Superior customer service skills with outstanding business acumen and proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships that cultivate business opportunities
  • Excellent negotiation skills and comfortable navigating C-level interactions and engaging with all stakeholders to propose and progress value-based offerings.
  • Proven to be proactive in understanding customer needs, priorities, and challenges in the surgical treatment areas.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.

  • Proven track record of effective selling in complex environments, collaborating across the organization to progress opportunities and close deals at pace.
  • Ability to develop a strong and recognized presence in a marketplace with an extensive list of existing relationships.
