Analyst, our primary SaaS offering, combines many different kinds of data on the workforce to accurately inform our clients’ decisions about college course offerings, hiring, site selection, economic development, and much more.We are looking for motivated young developers to join us in producing premier software tools for understanding labor market data. If you’re ready to join a high-functioning team of devs working closely with and learning from product managers, data scientists, data engineers, and software engineers to create interfaces and visualizations that make nuanced data intelligible, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll be embedded in a team of data scientists and developers, doing actual work. You will be able to participate in projects that deal with application of data mining, machine learning and other artificial intelligence technologies to the human capital management market . - Analyze the business usage scenarios and come up with possible features/metrics that can be used to solve problems such as matching candidates to job positions, recommending appropriate courses / learning content to candidates
- Create data models along with ancillary tools like preprocessing/post processing utilities for cleansing the data
- Analyze data and processes to identify possible bias that may adversely affect quality of the output
- Follow agile methodology to design, develop, and implement web-based applications to support business requirements.
- Develop Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, and Class Diagrams using UML for designing High-level applications.
- Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
- Contribute to automated build amp; deploy systems.
- Develop and maintain operational and system-level documentation based on technical design specifications, functional requirements, and analysis documents.

Candidates must have
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms e.g. classification, clustering, time series forecasting, deep learning, neural networks, word embeddings etc.
- Experience with the data modeling frameworks e.g. TensorFlow, Keras, Sklearn, PyTorch etc.
- Experience using a version control system e.g. Git
- Experience with the coding languages: Python, R, Java, C++
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies
- Knowledge of SDLC (Agile) and Computer Networks
Great candidates also have
- Experience with a cloud based model building environments like AWS Sagemaker
- Experience with git version control like Gitlab
- Familiarity with microservice architecture, gRPC, Apache Thrift
- Familiarity with Scala, Apache Spark
- Basic Knowledge of statistics
