You will report directly to Warehouse Lead and your key responsibilities are to:
- Recruiting, onboarding, training and continuous development of a team of Warehouse Operatives across a multi-temperature distribution centre
- Proactively assess and share opportunities for continuous process development
- Follow Clean As You Go principals to maintain a safe working environment for all
- Creation of workforce schedules
- Ensure that picks are available to Transport for scheduled departure times to Getir stores
- Ensure picks are accurate and pallet / cage build procedures are followed
- Health amp; Safety across the site in line with Health amp; Safety policies
- Adherence to company procedures and policies
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment and ensuring the Clean As You Go policy is followed by all
- Reporting of accidents and near misses
- Management and processing of stock returns (reverse logistics)
- Reporting to the Line Manager on a routine basis to discuss how and why KPIs have been achieved or not achieved
Requirements
- Demonstratable experience in a warehouse distribution environment (goods receipt, storage, picking, reverse logistics and despatch), preferable in a multi-temperature food environment
- Reach Truck and Counterbalance licence would be advantageous but not essential
- Demonstratable success of developing and managing high performance teams
- Strong leadership skills

- Flexible to support colleagues and other departments across a 24/7 operation
- Proficient in MS Office applications particularly Excel
- WMS experience
- Excellent command of local languages
