What you will be doing
Reporting to the Italian Country Manager you will be the key driver of growth of our Large and Medium merchant network - leading a team of business developers and accounts focusing on key Partners.
You will work in a fast and dynamic environment, contributing to accelerate our business and adding more Corporate clients to our growing acceptance network. You will break new ground and gain new business opportunities by proactively scouting the market, identifying and working on targets.
This role will be based in the Satispay office in Milan, after an extensive training and onboarding period in our Headquarter in Milan, you will be leading our existing corporate business development team and you will be in charge of formulating a strategy aimed at amplifying our successful playbook.In particular you will take care of the following tasks:

  • being the owner of the entire Corporate business unit: crafting and implementing local Business Development strategies, managing and developing the team (approx 10 persons)
  • ensuring to achieve ambitious targets both in terms of new companies acquisition both of increasing the performance of existing Satispay partners
  • working along with the Business Development team targeting Corporate Large amp; Medium companies (more than 5 millions revenues) to activate Satispay in their shops
  • build and nurture C-Level relationships across top Partners
  • learn how to properly handle leads assigned to you by the company and how to create your own ones
  • mentor and coach our team, formulating great strategies for approaching new and existing key Partners and ensuring everyone in the team continues to evolve their skills

Our ideal candidate has:

  • minimum 3+ years of proven sales team management experience
  • great people management skills, you are a natural-born communicator and you lead by example
  • achieved a successful track record in selling Digital or Payment solutions to retail players. Passion for Fintech is a strong plus
  • an already developed network of contacts within the retail space in Italy, including key chains (supermarkets, fashion, fast food etc...)
  • high level understanding of technical matters related to system integrations
  • strong strategic Consultative Selling and Customer Relationship management experience focusing on Enterprise B2B and B2C customer segment
  • significant experience in engaging and facilitating dialogue with C-level and senior executives
  • ability to work independently and in a strong team environment and to deliver on details as well as strategy
  • excellent communication skills (written/verbal) that are leveraged to address complex business issues and opportunities
  • entrepreneurial mindset and result and data driven
  • high motivation, goal orientation and target driven approach. You will also need to show exceptional time management skills and creativity enough to find alternative solutions to ordinary problems
  • fluency in Italy and English
