Our company is looking for a Manager of Business Intelligence in the EU region to join the team!
This new role in Kaleyra will work with all areas of the business and other top functions of the company to make important product and business decisions.
We are looking for leaders with a true passion for mobile and Internet services.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Director of Business Intelligence to help drive the strategy and the roadmap for analytics, reporting, and internal tools for the EU
- Develop a keen understanding Kaleyra’s Product Strategy and use that to help inform data and analytics priorities
- Hire and lead a high performing analyst team that implements that roadmap, develops their skills, mentor, and help to prioritize their work
- Establish and refine rhythm of business analyses amp; reporting cadence for business stakeholders
- Perform root cause analyses to identify business strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and trend and present analysis and recommendations to executive audiences
- Use data to inform, influence and support market sizing, product roadmap amp; product launch decisions
- Explore available technologies and conduct experiments to improve our data quality, workflow and job manageability and scalability
- Improve and refine KPIs to drive relevancy in performance measures
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in analytics amp; insights
- 2+ years of experience in leading and building analytics and insights teams. Experience identifying, recruiting, and retaining talent in this arena
- 3+ years knowledge in visualizing insights with Looker, QlikView or other visualization tools.
- 3+ years hands-on experience ELT/ETL and data warehousing (both on-premises and in the cloud)
- You have proficiency in SQL and software development experience in at least one language
- Have a good understanding of agile methodologies and their principles
- Experience managing, coaching and developing a team in these areas
- You fully understand data modeling techniques, purposes and applicability
- Demonstrated problem solving experience with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets
- Interpersonal experience and experience building collaborative relationships with the development and execution of strategies/initiatives
- This is an international position, so proficiency with written and oral English is mandatory
