If you are looking to join a fast-paced growth environment and do meaningful work that can make a true impact in the world, then keep reading.

About the role

We are currently experiencing a period of rapid growth, and to continue on this trajectory we’re searching for a passionate and talented Product Manager to join our hardware team. You will be joining at an exciting time in the company as we scale up to be the leader in the remote research and monitoring of countless medical conditions.

This is a pivotal moment in the history of Empatica, and as a Product Manager, you will be the steward of our products. You’ll work with an empowered team of mechanical engineers, electronic engineers, data scientists, industrial designers, and regulatory specialists to build great products that will be used by researchers and companies changing healthcare. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Director of Product and will work within the hardware Ramp;D team (the team that builds new hardware products).

Some important details:

  • Empatica is an international environment with offices in Europe and the US, and so we conduct all our work in English.
  • We are operating a hybrid model where our employees choose whether to work from home or come to the office. Due to the nature of this role, some visits to the laboratory in Milan will be required with short notice and so we encourage applications from people located in or close to Milan.
  • We are producing our devices in Seoul, Korea. If required, this person should be available to travel to Seoul, even for extended periods of time (e.g., 1~2 months to help the team kick off the production of a new product).

Requirements

Please bear in mind this position is purely product-focused, for marketing-related opportunities check our careers page or feel free to send us an unsolicited application.

You’ll work with your team to distill the vision in a holistic product strategy and accordingly you’ll design OKRs for your team. You’ll communicate the progress and outcomes of your team to the executive team and you'll align key stakeholders around the most important problems to solve.
  • Be the glue for your team. You’ll need to interact with many internal and external stakeholders.
