Approaching our 10th anniversary in business, SilverBack has vast experience of supporting projects and clients around Europe and Ireland to scale and achieve their recruitment targets during the lifecycle of their projects in order to deliver for their clients.

Having established a White Collar recruitment unit in 2020, we anticipate its continued exponential growth going forward into the coming years. We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

Reporting to the Head of Recruitment, the Senior Consultant will be responsible for business development, key account management as well as driving revenue through sourcing and placing candidates in the mission critical construction sector across Europe. The successful individual will be integral to the development and execution of an ambitious business plan for the White Collar recruitment function of SilverBack.

The role will be based out of SilverBack office in Station Mews, Dublin 9, Ireland, but working from home/remotely will be facilitated depending on your needs and geographical location. This will be a highly customer and candidate-facing role so it is expected that significant time will be spent speaking with our clients and candidates - both in person and virtually.

Back-office support functions relating to administration, payroll, accounts, and logistics are already in place and well established for this type of recruitment and the right individual will have an excellent support network within the business to grow their own desk from the offset. It is expected that the successful candidate will begin to build a team of their own consisting of a trainee once the growth of their own desk warrants a new team member.


Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Directly reporting to the Head of Recruitment, you will have responsibility for the recruitment lifecycle of roles you’ve sourced or been allocated from your client base.
  • The role includes and is not limited to, advertising roles, sourcing candidates, shortlisting candidates, interviewing, and negotiating job offers with customers and candidates.
  • Support the Head of Recruitment with insights, analysis, and innovative ways of sourcing the right caliber of candidates for our clients.
  • Present progress reports to your line manager regularly.
  • Research the market within which we operate and make recommendations regarding the recruitment process and techniques we can adopt to better the business.
  • Advertising roles through our advert posting channels and on our ATS system.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing roles, understanding their needs in details as well as screening the applicant's qualifications.
  • Advise and educate clients on current market trends.
  • Update personal market knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and courses.
  • Build good working relationships with our clients, candidates as well as the rest of the staff in our regional offices.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years in a similar role within the recruitment sector
  • Successful billing record as a recruitment consultant
  • Experience in both Permanent and Contract Recruitment
  • Experience in the construction sector is desirable and advantageous but not essential
  • Experienced in using recruitment ATS systems
  • The ability to set out weekly, monthly and annual targets.
  • Experience in meeting and beating targets
  • Proven track record of developing business with new and existing clients
  • A strong interest in building relationships with both candidates and clients
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
  • Self-motivated
  • A desire to achieve success and build out a successful team
  • A competitive nature and a strong background in business development are a must.
