Job Description

The ideal candidate manages reception operations, according to our standards and procedures, establishes and maintains professional relationship with external and internal guests

Reports to: Front office Manager

Main duties and responsibilities:

Manage operations of the Front Desk, according to Company policies and procedures and compliance with our Code of Conduct

Handle guest complaints and anticipate guests needs.

Manage room allocation, review room availability status, room blockage and special requests on a daily basis through working closely with Central Reservation Office, General Manager and all other departments

Staff coaching, performance appraisal, work organization and development of all Front staff

Continuous update of activities and attractions available in the area

Ensure that Guest database is updated as per our policy


Requirements

We require:

  • Steady career path in 4 or 5 stars Hotels, previous experience in the same position at international level.
  • Fluent in English and Italian. Third Language required, fluency with Russian language preferred.
  • Excellent communicational skills: skilled at engaging audience.
  • Customer and Personal Service: knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Adaptability: ability to effectively adjust to major changes in work tasks or the work environment.
  • Originality: able to come up with clever ideas about products, services or situations, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem.
  • Team leader: skilled at building a cohesive team and facilitating goal accomplishment
  • Building trust: ability to interact with others in an honest, fair and respectful way
