An exciting opportunity for the Season 2022 has arisen for a Maître D' role at Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel to support the Restaurant team with providing excellent and personalised guest experiences.

The ideal candidate is passionate for the hospitality business and willing to provide authentic, luxury experiences in a world-renowned destination to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.

The Maître D' will:

• Provide an excellent and personalised guest experience according to our service standards
• Lead and coordinate the banqueting team (outsourced);
• Organize and supervise all operations;
• Manage and develop staff in everyday operations according to our standard and procedures;
• Maintain a professional relationship with guests and colleagues;
• Anticipate guests needs and handle guest complaints;
• Inventory and requisitions: assist in monitoring stock levels and ordering replacement deliveries;
• Comply with health and safety regulations.

Other requirements:

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in Italian and English; a third language is preferred;
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Professional knowledge of Italian cuisine and Italian amp; International wines;
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment;
• Exceptional customer service skills;
• Passion for hospitality and ambition to grow professionally;
• Flexibility to work on weekends and rotating schedule.
