Context:We are looking for our first business developers to conquer the German market !As our first business developer in this new territory, your role will be to convince German retail managers and business owners that Skello is the best workforce management solution for their needs. This is a full stack Sales role that is in charge of new client acquisition from lead generation to closing and beyond!You will collaborate with Paris headquarters and report to our Country Manager to help develop the local go-to-market team and to ultimately build the next German market leader in workforce management tools.
In order to implement this vision, you will be responsible for the following:Missions:
• Identify potential clients and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business and equipment needs• Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships• Generate your own pipeline by handling outbound and inbound leads, working network, sourcing referrals, attending shows• Book amp; run demos with potential customers• Build business proposals and negotiate• Manage an important pipeline of prospects and convert them into happy customers• Gather feedback to improve our product especially regarding market-specific featuresBeing the first sales executive in the team, this position offers other exciting perspectives depending on how well you perform in the role.The position is based in Paris for the first months. Once the proof of concept is reached, our Business Developer could stay in Paris or relocate to Cologne to help open a new office!Your Profile:- 2+ years experience in B2B software sales
- Strong familiarity with the German market and an excellent knowledge of business culture
- Keen interest in the tech industry, and ideally a proven experience in a digital startup environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset and affinity for working in a fast-paced environment
- A born salesperson with a great dose of empathy and listening skills
- Goal-oriented and customer-centric, with strong deal ownership (activity, action plan, forecast),
- You are a great team player, a born enthusiast and nothing excites you more than a new challenge, or a problem to solve.
Languages:- German: native or bilingual (C2)
- English: fully fluent (C1+)
- French is a strong plus
