The focus of a successful project manager concerns the following aspects:
Good understanding of the customer requirements and expectations (expressed and perceived) Efficient, clear and well balanced communication with customers, vendors and internal resources involved In-depth knowledge of all issues around correct translation management and of the main Language Technology Tools High organizational capacity and focus towards best results in the coordination of tasks and actors involved in a project Careful management of costs (and sales where in charge) to obtain best possible economical results for each project In-depth knowledge of the customers assigned to him/her. Staying in close contact with them.Responsibilities:
Monitor, track and evaluate desk- and project managers on KPI's; Provide ongoing feedback to ensure all standards are met ; Monitor technological developments and ensure their implementation in order to optimize working methods and tools; Define and implement the main project management processes; Monitor the application of internal procedures and implement improvements in accordance with business needs; Deliver monthly, weekly or daily updates/reports to managementRequirements
Master's degree or equivalent experience; Tech-savvy; Good understanding of MS Office, Excel and CAT tools; Excellent communication skills; Fluent in English; Highly driven and an agile learner; Strong ability to multi task and perform under pressure.
