In this role, you will:

  • Be hands-on and work directly in the field, doing whatever it takes to make another successful launch in Italy.
  • Take the lead for the sourcing and launching of future dark stores locations.
  • Own special projects, research, and analysis organizing and filing contracts.
  • Assist and support the reporting process while reconciling and supporting the hedging processes by tracking down inconsistencies with purchases and sales.
  • Assist in keeping systems updated by entering items such as costs, pricing data, etc.
  • Conduct various analyses, which include P/L, costs, supply and demand, asset and terminals, etc.
  • Support Sales, Operations, Analysis, and Customer/Suppliers as needed.
  • Daily reconciliation between internal systems, risk management, and inventory.
  • Troubleshoot differences that arise during reconciliation processes internally.
  • Act like the company is yours! Go beyond your initial responsibilities - we are a global company with a world of opportunities for someone who is adaptable to the challenges a launch throws at them.
  • Ensure that each property is suitable for our operation - both financially and geographically.
  • Solve problems creatively. Don't think outside the box... Disregard the box entirely! (The box is in your mind).

Requirements

  • You are an independent learner, who moves fast and can take the initiative - speed is our number one currency and we need someone who knows when to take action.
  • Someone ambitious and looking for the next step on their career path.
  • Must have a strong background in fast-paced business settings such as consulting, start-ups or investment banking.
  • Proven influencing and persuasion skills to lead, negotiate and provide key operational input into strategic property decisions and strategies.
  • An awareness of the conveyancing process for commercial properties in Italy.
  • Excellent communications skills with a proven ability to build relationships.
  • Expert working knowledge of Google Sheets - you can use formulas confidently and you know how to query a database.
  • Experience with project management (bonus if you know your way around Asana).
  • Technical report writing experience desired but not required.
