We’re Getir, the pioneers of super-fast delivery. We deliver groceries such as sandwiches to shampoo, dog food to beer, in an average of ten minutes. Founded in 2015, we now deliver hundreds of thousands of orders a day from more than 300 locations in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Netherlands and Turkey. In 2021, we plan to rock the streets and doorsteps of several cities across the world, including Italy, spreading the experience and wonder of seamless, super-fast delivery that simply works for everyone. To make super-fast delivery possible, we don’t refrain from getting involved in all the aspects that go into it. However, we like to do everything in a startup-savvy way that is driven by technology.
We are looking for a Head of Supply Chain amp; Logistics for our Italy market. Reporting directly to the General Manager, Italy - you will oversee:
- Supply chain: Define and plan the entire supply chain.
- Central Warehouse: Setup the central warehouse and logistics.
- Team and Pamp;L: Define the team structure, hire stellar people - and manage the Pamp;L for the entire supply chain vertical.
As a core member and leader - you will have the critical responsibility to impact the success of the business by ensuring our stores are replenished on time, eventually giving the stellar customer experience Getir is known for! The Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for improving process and systems throughout commodity amp; operational purchasing, PO management and fulfilment, internal stores, materials handling and parts distribution.
Role Responsibilities:
- Driving the attainment of company performance, profitability and efficiency in regard to all supply chains, including but not limited to planning, procurement, logistics and warehousing.
- Maximizing efficiency and cost optimization in the supply chain, and improving accuracy and results through collaborative approach with vendors/suppliers.
- Implementing latest best practices in regard to technology, inventory and demand management, and compliance management across the group.
- Driving common processes, disciplines, systems and metrics across the planning function by leveraging new and existing systems and advanced planning to enable best practice operating efficiencies.
- Utilizing and refining of key performance indicators (KPI) to monitor and drive performance and continuous improvement; ensuring strict compliance with regulations, and group standards.
- Assessing, developing, and refining the overall planning, procurement, warehousing, distribution and logistics skill set in the organization.
- Driving operational excellence and best practices to improve the supply chain process.
Requirements
- 7 years of supply chain experience in progressively senior positions.
- Be responsible in all areas of Supply Chain including but not limited to planning, procurement, warehousing and logistics.
- Have considerable knowledge of financial, quantitative, analytical and ability to work in multi-functional teams.
- Exhibit in depth knowledge of latest supply chain / logistics processes, LEAN methods amp; current best practices to execute business continuity/strategic plans to provide direction toward the achievement of financial targets.
- Have a strong 'hands-on' people management, interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, team building, leadership and coaching skills.
- Proficiency in English and Italian.
