Job Description

The Ramp;D Quality amp; Purchasing Department of Gruppo Montenegro is looking for a Laboratory Analyst Trainee who will provide support in carrying out laboratory tests and analysis.

Tasks amp; Responsibities

• Collaborate in planning analysis activities according to demand in compliance with the predefined service level

• Collaborate in the monitoring of the laboratory's KPIs for measuring the level of service and in the implementation of the most suitable corrective actions

• Collect and prepare samples in accordance with the reference procedures and operating instructions

• Perform analysis (visual and instrumental) and measurements based on established standards, implementing the testing plan for raw materials, semi-finished and finished products and reporting any non-conformities found to the Laboratory Analyst Supervisor

• Contribute to the implementation of systems to monitor the quality of data so that the analytical results produced are accurate

• Process, evaluate and record the data related to the analysis

• Collaborate in the maintenance of laboratory equipment and facilities through inspection, calibration, repairing and testing of equipment.

Requirements

  • Inherent academic background (degree in Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Chemistry or Food Science and Technology)
  • Basic knowledge of Statistics applied to quality control
  • Strong attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and priority setting skills
  • Good knowledge of Office Package
  • Fluency in English
