Job Description

Our international success means that we are winning new customers (Payment Service Providers (PSPs), Gateways and Acquiring Banks) more rapidly than ever before. In order to maximize the opportunity with these relationships and support the day to day needs of the partner to capitalize on the growing global E-commerce market by using local payment methods. You will help to educate and train partner’s sales, training, marketing and other teams about LPMs while coordinating growth initiatives both internally and externally.
What will you be doing:Your determined focus will be to ensure that your portfolio of payment service providers and consequently their merchants, succeed. You will be part of PPRO’s Central Account Management team and you will be creating and organizing innovative ways to drive improvements in our customer service and manage our customer base. To do this you will be providing guidance and support to our partners by marshalling resources from across the PPRO business to successfully deliver on revenue and strategy goals. You will not only drive results through traditional and existing products and services, but will have the vision and understanding to develop ways to add incremental value to our customers and the PPRO business in a scaled way.You’ll need to have:
  • At least 3 years successful sales/account management/customer service experience in the payments industry (preferably in the local payment method space), building and developing relationships with existing customers or partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience in engaging and influencing senior executives.
  • Naturally persistent and tenacious, always following up and seeing tasks through to timely completion.
  • A team player - Must be able to collaborate, contribute and lead in a high calibre sales team and across the business, coordinating the appropriate resources to meet varying client requirements.
  • Understanding of cultural differences in doing business with international colleagues and customers.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Perfect written and spoken English skills; fluency in other languages (especially German, French, Spanish, Italian) is an advantage
  • The position is either to be based in Cologne, Munich or London, and an office-based role that will require some European travel
