Our Operations Department provides operational support to our riders amp; everyone on shift in the warehouse, and to undertake all scheduled operational duties as required. The Ops teams focus on the very core of our business which is responsible for our 10 minute deliveries. This role will provide significant operational knowledge and in-depth knowledge to the local teams to ensure successful performance and excelled customer and client experience in the final mile.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Main point of contact for our commercial department for inventory management inside the warehouses
• Responsibility for up to three Darkstores in your district
• Working closely with the Darkstore managers as sparring partner for the retail warehouse KPIs
• Coordinate with the Darkstore associates on incoming shipments and physical inventory management
• Perform random supplier and inventory checks to ensure highest product availability
• Communicate with buyers and flag potential issues with suppliers and the quality and quantity of products
• Responsibility for creating and sharing reports on product availability, quality and inventory accuracy
• Accountable for category and zoning correctness in order to achieve a standardized warehouse set-up

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Previous experience from a professional role in a similar environment (FMCG/Retail experience is a big plus)
• Gained first experience in a fast-paced environment
• Familiar with the grocery retail space
• Attention to detail and love to work with people and numbers at the same time
• Hands-on mentality and are willing to get your hands dirty
• Strong analytical mind but still think in a pragmatic way
• Understanding of managing KPIs, OKRs and budgeting
• Ready to step up and make Gorillas a big success
• Very good communication skills and a high proficiency in both written and spoken English and Italian.
