Duties amp; Responsibilities
Responsible for all daily maintenance issues within the hotel in collaboration with all departmentsOversees and manages the timely completion of routine maintenance activities and the effective resolution of daily maintenance problems in compliance with the standards imposed by the HotelPerform daily checks around the hotel in accordance with the Health and Safety requirements: heating system, air-conditioning system, water system, electrical generator, any hotel vehiclesPerform daily checks around the hotel to ensure the correct functioning of TV system, Wi-Fi connection, Telephone system etc.Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment within the hotelMaintenance of all hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure they are in safe condition and take action when any unsafe situations ariseDevelop, implement, and direct all emergency programs: fire fighting system, water system, electricity generator etc.Develop, implement and manage energy and water conservation programs for the property to minimize expensesDevelop, implement and manage a preventative maintenance program, taking into consideration heavy machinery, air conditioning, daily routines and specialized equipmentManages and assesses the work completed by the maintenance team amp; external technical contractors to ensure that the work provided meets the quality standards requiredConduct Guest room checks weekly to identify any maintenance issues in collaboration with Housekeeping and Front OfficeCarries out regular inspections and maintenance of all staff areas (which includes the dining, accommodation, entertainment areas)Carries out regular inspections and maintenance of all public areasCarries out regular inspections and maintenance of the warehouse in accordance with the Health and Safety requirements;Reports any maintenance or property issues, any loss or damage to guest or company property to managementAttends daily meetings with other HOD’s and promptly shares important and relevant information with his colleagues based on the relevant areasConducts a daily briefing with the Maintenance team and allocate/schedule all duties and tasks to be carried out on the dayEnsures that all water systems are treated in order to prevent corrosion throughout the systemKeeps an adequate inventory of spare parts, tools and supplies at all timesKeeps appropriate standards of conduct, uniform and appearanceEnsures that fat traps, drains, and plumbing works are not blocked and in good working orderEnsures that storerooms, pump rooms, generator rooms and other maintenance areas are kept clean and tidyCollaborate with Pool Supervisors for the pool maintenance and cleaning. Ensure that the correct chemical dosage methods are followedRequirements
Minimum 2 4 years’ experience in similar field/role at a senior staff or supervisor levelRelevant technical qualificationsPrevious experience in a luxury hospitality environment is requiredGeneral knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, IT and related tradesProven technical ability and appropriate skills applicable to the job functionWorking knowledge and understanding of basic vehicle maintenance, generators, pumps, air-conditioning, refrigeration and solar plantsCommitted to delivering a high level of customer serviceAbility to work under pressurePositive, can-do attitudePlease apply forwarding your CV with full details and enclose the approval to process the personal data according to local privacy laws and standards (d.lgs. 196/03
