Cellply is a deep tech company with the ambition to develop analytical tools enabling fast end effective development of life-saving cancer cell therapies. Our solutions support biopharma companies and research institutes from discovery to Ramp;D and quality control of advanced therapies.
We are seeking an Intern Junior Scientist to join the Technology Development Team to work on our platform. The key activity of the internship will be the improvement and characterization of new features, protocols, and novel assays based on Cellply technology.
Together with the Engineering team, the Junior Scientist will also focus on technology verification and validation and will be involved in the Disposable Kit quality control processes.
The internship will last 6 months.
Responsibilities:· Perform laboratory activities including cell culturing, research experiments and data analysis.
· Verification and Validation of the new features (software. hardware and biological methods) on Cellply instrument.
· Support the quality control process of Cellply disposable kit.
· Contribute to develop standards or new assays according to marketing requirements.
· Work effectively in multidisciplinary team including engineering and computational sciences, addressing diverse scientific and technical questions.
· Writing of procedures, protocols amp; reports; share results to the Technology Development Team.
Requirements
· Master Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, CTF or equivalent
· Basic Biological laboratory experience (e.g. internship during the master thesis).
· Fluent in written and spoken English.
· Previous experience in quality control processes will be considered a plus.
· Full-time position that requires exclusive dedication.
· The candidate must not be enrolled in a professional register.
