Job Description:
As an Event Security Consultant with Control Risks, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing security measures during major events. The consultant may not be required to complete all tasks listed below for every event, as the scope of responsibilities may vary.
We are looking for consultants throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa for these roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Threat Assessment: Conduct comprehensive threat assessments for the specific event, considering local and global security risks.
- Security Planning: Collaborate with event organizers and stakeholders to develop detailed security plans tailored to the unique requirements of each event.
- Team Management: Lead and coordinate security teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management protocols, including evacuation plans and emergency response procedures.
- Surveillance and Monitoring: Utilize advanced surveillance technologies and monitoring systems to identify potential security threats.
- Language Capabilities: Demonstrate proficiency in languages relevant to the event location, as communication with local authorities and stakeholders is crucial.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understand and respect local customs and cultural nuances to enhance collaboration with local security forces and communities.
- Logistical Coordination: Coordinate logistics related to security operations, such as transportation, access control, and secure areas.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, providing leadership and guidance to security personnel.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication channels with all stakeholders, including clients, event organizers, and local authorities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event security management.
