Job Description

Position: Team Leader

Working time: full-time (40 hours per week)

Working location: remote

Required Partita Iva / VAT Number

Excellent communication skills in English is a must. Advanced proficiency in Italian, Spanish and/or German is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Team Leader (TL) supports the Europe Operations amp; Community Manager (OPM) in the overall operation activities of the Company, providing support wherever it’s needed and helping his/her team meeting their goals successfully.

The TL ensures all operations are carried on in an appropriate and cost-effective way.

The TL is responsible for the entire projects’ execution cycle of the Company’s designated area, handling complex fieldworks and managing a team of Executives and Freelancers in order to make sure regional and local fieldworks are completed on time and in full.

The Team Leader role is split into three key areas:

1. People Management

2. Projects execution

3. Community/database management (growth and engagement)

1. People Management

  • Support the Operations amp; Community Manager to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ new employee based on the validated budget
  • Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals
  • Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork
  • Grow his/her team members by monitoring their training needs and keeping in mind their career evolution wishes; to work on any performance discrepancies if any
  • Maintain employee work schedules including assignments, job rotation, training, vacations, and paid time off, telecommuting, cover for absenteeism, and overtime scheduling.
  • Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email, Teams message, and regular interpersonal communication.

2. Projects execution

  • Plan internal resources according to the forecast: make sure that enough executives and freelancers are recruited and trained to deliver and meet the deadlines at all times
  • Is responsible for the timely assignment and execution of fieldwork as per the Company’s standards, specific mission/client requirements and project schedule of the Business Unit Operations team
  • Assign Executives and freelancers specific projects, based on their workload and expertise
  • Have control at all times on the costs and to use the resources at its best; to be able to set an agile organization within the team
  • Make sure that the Operation margin target is reached.

3. Community/database management

  • Focus on Community Growth and Engagement: plan and implement initiatives to expand the Evaluators Community based on the current and future business needs, and to keep the existing Evaluators motivated and active.
  • Focus on the new Evaluators onboarding.
  • Ensure the Evaluators are having the best User Experience by answering quickly and effectively to their requests
  • Ensure the Evaluators receive their payment on time by making sure the finance team has all their payment details

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

You bring to this position attention and accuracy for details that you support by:

  • Excellent communication skills in English as you will lead a team of Operations Executives and freelancers located in different countries
  • Advanced proficiency in Italian, Spanish and/or German is a plus.
  • Excellent organizing skills to coordinate project activities

  • Degree in Administration, Business, Management or related field
  • At least 3 years of Project Management experience.
