At Hotel Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel, Venice, we are looking for a talented Restaurant Manager to join our team at Il Porticciolo Restaurant.
This is a seasonal full-time position starting from March 2024, reporting directly to the Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Famp;B.
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a pleasant experience for our guests while maintaining efficient operations, quality and exemplary service.
Among the main responsibilities:
- Direct the restaurant operations on a daily basis ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction
- Recruit the restaurant team, train and develop the new resources
- Maintain a daily liaison with the kitchen team ensuring a harmonious relationship between culinary and service team
- Work closely with the EAM in charge of Famp;B, the Executive Chef and the Head Chef of Il Porticciolo
- Contribute to the development of the restaurant offer whilst evolving and improving continuously the assigned outlet.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant luxury hospitality environment acquired preferably while working a similar position within 5* hotels
- Fluency both in Italian and English is mandatory; good knowledge of French is beneficial
- Strong leadership skills
- Be service oriented and guest focused
