Become part of a caring team of professionals striving for excellence as we are looking for a Head Chef to lead the brigade of the Main Kitchen. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges.
This is a seasonal position due to start in March 2024.
The Head Chef works closely with the Executive Chef in order to manage the kitchen brigade and create memorable menus for our guests.
Among her/his main duties and responsibilities:
- directing kitchen operations and managing the kitchen staff
- overseeing the food preparation, cooking and cleaning processes
- calculating food costs and liaising with suppliers
- ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations
- delegating tasks and resolving issues as they arise
- ensuring all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards.
Requirements
- at least 2 years in the position in 5* hotel kitchens or high-end venues
- ability to manage people
- attention to detail
- willingness to take initiative and make decisions
- ability to solve problems
