General Ledger Accountant - Internship

We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant - Intern to work in our office located in Italy - Cinisello, who will be supporting the team in financial activities, support internal audit and draft new procedures for SOX purposes.

Within this role you will be responsible for:

• Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger
• Reconciling accounts and provide details to be used for statutory financials and tax reports
• Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support

• Supporting the Auditor, Accounting Supervisors and other financial professionals in their duties as needed

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role should hold a Degree Level of education and should demonstrate the understanding of General Leger Accounting.

Technical Skills

• University Degree in Accountancy
• Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
• Fluent in English both written and verbal
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
