Back-end Developer Senior

We are looking for an experienced Back-end developer to join our engineering team.

You will be responsible for the server-side of our web applications. If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you.

As a Senior Back-end developer, you’ll work closely with our engineers from all areas and also across countries to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet our company’s and client's needs.

Main responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
• Follow emerging technologies and maintain industry knowledge
• Assess project briefs to determine technical parameters/specifications and required resources
• Identify project risks and shape strategies to guard against them
• Delegate daily and weekly tasks to technical team members
• Coach and motivate team members

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Back-end developer (5+ years)
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Good expertise with PHP, Laravel and MySQL
• Experience with WordPress, Drupal, Prestashop (nice to have)
• Must have: GitFlow experience
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Working knowledge of MongoDB (nice to have)
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Serverless concepts (nice to have)
• Experience with Python and/or Shopify (nice to have)
• Experience in Javascript programming (Angular and/or React) - (nice to have)
• Italian and English Knowledge
• German (nice to have)
