We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Human Resources Internship to assist our South Europe Human Resource Division. The ideal candidate has excellent language skills and a genuine passion for people and luxury hotels. You will support the Divisional Director of Human Resources and the Talent Acquisition amp; Learning and Development team in the day-to-day HR processes with a focus on labour legislation, documents and contracts, training, engagement activities and talent discovering events.
What you will do
Support the team in:
- embedding the Belmond behaviours, promoting a fair, safe, inclusive, diverse environment and helping in initiatives that engage and empower the team
- implementing our Belmond policies, processes, and procedures, so to be compliant with local employment law
- operating an efficient and accurate administration system in order to meet statutory, legal and internal requirements
- executing recruitment tasks in order to help attracting and retaining the highest calibre of colleagues
- posting job vacancies on boards and social media channels
- organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates
- coordinating new hire orientations, ensuring our new joiners have a smooth start
- assisting with training and development activities, such as managing mandatory employee trainings in class and online
- assisting in organising any company and colleagues social events
- responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies
Requirements
- Passionate about people and talent development, interested in building a career in Human Resources in hospitality
- Bachelor's degree in Organisational Psychology and/or Human Resource management
- Fluency in Italian and English, both written/verbal, is a must. The knowledge of a third language between Spanish and Portuguese would represent an advantage
- Computer literacy should include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, accurate and able to present ideas in a well-organised manner
- Ability to quickly build trustful relationships with colleagues across the division
- Culturally sensitive with a high degree of work ethic: you must be thoughtful, approachable, open-minded and fair
- Quality driven, detailed oriented, with a passion for excellence and about bringing out the best in other people
