Job Description
As Product Manager you will drive the development of Lightcast Products in our Global Business Unit, serving customers across the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions. You will work with Sales and Customer Services colleagues to understand customer needs and then with Product and Engineering colleagues to specify and implement new features to meet them.
This is a Seasonal Role on a fixed term contract for 12 months. This position requires working across UK and US time zonesMajor Responsibilities:- Collaborate with colleagues in sales, marketing and customer service functions to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product launches
- Work with engineering teams and product owners to specify software requirements and see them through implementation to release
- Work closely with VP Global Innovation to define the product vision and specifications and develop business cases to secure engineering resources
- Create and maintain product documentation, including user stories and product requirements
Skills Abilities:- Creating or work with product designers to create draft mock ups and final designs in figma for product features
- Create jira tickets to clearly communicate required product features or bug fixes to Engineering
- Manage the feature request backlog and monitor progress through to release, tracking progress against plan and resolving any variances as soon as they are identified
- Make tradeoffs between features, schedule, and costs based on their relationship to business goals, company policies, software architecture constraints, and software development team capabilities
- Engage customers through surveys and user interviews to receive their feedback on the product and new features and use this data to inform product roadmap and strategy
- Manage in-app Intercom and Pendo product announcements, and develop the product Knowledge Base in concert with subject matter experts and CS to create articles
Education Experience:- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3 years product related experience
- Experience using Jira or other product tracking tools
