Duties and Role:

• Provides level 1/2 support to CIS infrastructure in accordance with Agency processes and procedures;
• Installs and maintains the baseline of computing, storage and networking platforms required for the core and functional IT services and applications
• Maintains IT System Backup and Disaster Recovery plans, restores IT Systems as required.
• Administers and maintains virtual infrastructure environment as well as virtual desktop infrastructure
• Contributes to Level 1 and Level 2 Incident Management support.
• Contributes to Problem Management and Change Management.
• Responsible for databases administration.
• Contributes to the Service Asset and Configuration Management.
• Support the local deployment of protection system to include firewall, antivirus, IT security policies as directed.
• Contributes to the production and maintenance of technical documentation of IT Systems.
• Contribute to implement Cyber Security Policies and provide support during investigations
• Perform other duties within the NCI Agency's area of business as may be required

Requirements

Skill, Knowledge amp; Experience:

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience
• Minimum 2 years recent experience performing system administration using virtualization technologies in a Converged/Hyper Convergent infrastructure environment.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with Server system administration.
• Knowledge and experience of network configuration and troubleshooting;
