Job Description

Alessio is currently partnered with a leading Nutraceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) dedicated to delivering innovative and high-quality solutions to the nutraceutical industry. With their state-of-the-art facilities and expertise, they offer end-to-end development and manufacturing services for dietary supplements, functional foods, and related products. As they expand their operations into the Southern Europe market, they are seeking a talented and driven Business Developer to spearhead their growth and establish their presence in the region.

Job Description:

As the Business Developer for this Nutraceutical CDMO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the business expansion in the Southern Europe market. Leveraging your expertise in the nutraceutical industry and your strong business acumen, you will identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and cultivate long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to establish our brand as the go-to CDMO partner for nutraceutical companies operating in Southern Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape in the Southern Europe nutraceutical industry.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate the Southern Europe market and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and engage with prospective clients, showcasing our capabilities, services, and value proposition.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and industry associations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Ramp;D, operations, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to internal stakeholders, contributing to the continuous improvement of our offerings and business strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements pertaining to the nutraceutical sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development or sales within the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Southern Europe nutraceutical market, including key players, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
  • Strong network of contacts and relationships within the nutraceutical industry, specifically in Southern Europe.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop effective business development plans.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Proficient in English; fluency in additional languages spoken in Southern Europe is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
