We are currently seeking a Facility Management Trainee to join our team. As a Facility Management Trainee, you will provide support to the Facility Management Team in the efficient and effective management of our facilities, including 5 production plants and 2 retail stores. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in facility management.
Tasks amp; Responsibilities
- Ticket Management: Assist in managing the tickets within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This includes monitoring the progress of work, verifying the correct execution of tasks, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Scheduled Maintenance: Support the planning and execution of scheduled maintenance activities. This involves coordinating with relevant stakeholders, scheduling maintenance tasks, and ensuring adherence to maintenance plans.
- Maintenance Organization: Assist in organizing both routine and extraordinary maintenance tasks. This includes defining priorities, coordinating with suppliers and vendors, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of any issues or breakdowns. Collaborate with the Facility Manager and other team members to implement corrective actions and preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.
- Supplier Management: Assist in managing relationships with external suppliers and service providers. Monitor the quality of their work, ensure compliance with maintenance standards, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on the results of facility management activities. This includes analyzing data, summarizing key findings, and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Documentation Management: Help organize and maintain technical documentation related to facilities. This includes floor plans, compliance certificates, periodic inspections, and other relevant documentation.
- Contract Execution: Support the Facility Manager in overseeing the execution of contracts related to facility management. Monitor service levels, ensure compliance with contract terms, and coordinate any necessary adjustments or renewals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
