The team:

We are a community of Sales Engineers who are committed to satisfy customer needs throughout the European region a scope encompassing 15+ countries. Our goal is to foster fluid business-to-business processes by assisting our various channel partners, such as distributors, vendors, and retailers, in bringing Genetec solutions to final customers. You will collaborate closely with the Southern Europe team across Sales and Professional Services to provide great service to our Italian customers and support our relationships throughout the Southern Europe region.

What your day will look like:
  • Collaborate with regional partners to understand their needs and align them with the solutions that would be most beneficial to the local market
  • Showcase the value and benefits of our solutions through presentations and demonstrations to partners as well as final customers
  • Provide guidance and training to enhance product knowledge and sales capabilities of our partners
  • Assist in developing and reaching Channel Sales team goals that align with company vision
  • Help Genetec remain a leader in our field by keeping up with industry trends, landscape, and emerging technologies that align with our portfolio
  • Develop and maintain trustworthy interpersonal relationships with regional partners and across different internal teams
  • Contribute to a positive team culture through respect, support, and inclusion amongst your colleagues
About you:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to collaborate and foster communication internally
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset in problem-solving situations
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences
  • Professional working level of English and Italian
  • Desire to be a part of and support a diverse, inclusive, respectful work environment
Technical expertise:
  • Prior Sales Engineering experience preferred
  • Knowledge in Access Control, Video, Video Analytics, or Cloud Architecture
  • Knowledge of Networking principles, protocols, and storage solutions
  • Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems and their key components
  • Familiarity with Server Virtualization and Customer / Server Architecture
Even better if you have these assets:
  • Previous experience with Genetec Security Center
  • Previous experience designing enterprise Access Control and Video Solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Networking technologies and architecture
  • Certifications in Microsoft technologies, Security Engineering, Cyber Security, Networking, or Project Management
  • Azure knowledge
