We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for our plant in Casella (GE). The candidate, who will join our team, will report directly to the plant manager and will be responsible for the following activities:
- Manage and implement maintenance (extraordinary, preventive, scheduled and emergency) and oversee their correct application including related reporting and maintenance record keeping.
- Coordinate maintenance criteria for equipment, machines, production lines, systems (power supply, air, heating, cooling systems, lifting systems, lighting, etc.), buildings, in order to minimise general malfunctions and production stoppages due to breakdowns and failures.
- Highlighting possible machines downtime problems, in the various departments, identifying maintenance tasks and assigning activities and priorities;
- Control and manage the reordering of spare parts and calls to external suppliers for technical support or intervention needs.
- Elaborate, propose and manage the technological modernisation plan of production facilities in line with the company strategy and product mix;
- Supervise plant modifications and related lay-outs, in compliance with the set time and costs.
- Researching, evaluating and monitoring the main plant and technology suppliers and keeping updated about technological developments in the sector.
- Ensuring that all maintenance activities carried out by internal or external parties are carried out according to established safety procedures.
- Manage the Maintenance Budget and develop management and cost control indicators.
- Manage and develop the maintenance team.
Requirements
- Several years' experience in a similar position within a manufacturing company.
- Experience in a multinational company in the sector is a plus.
- A degree in the field of engineering is required.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Excellent skills in managing people, suppliers and internal customers.
- Teamwork approach, initiative and flexibility.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
